Rethinking and Redefining Our Future

Image

The climate goals set out in the 2015 Paris Agreement are dangerously optimistic. The central aim of limiting global warming to 2°C above pre-industrial levels is increasingly out of reach.

The consequences of rising temperatures will affect every aspect of human life — from cities and infrastructure to ecosystems and food security. This reality demands a fundamental shift in how we think and act in the decades ahead.

At Klinker Historika GmbH, we are convinced that reducing CO₂ emissions will be the defining benchmark for future economic and societal decisions. The ecological footprint we leave — through what we do or fail to do — will shape the world for generations to come.

A Proven Solution: Reclaimed Bricks with Over 98 % Less CO₂

We recover approximately 100-year-old clinker bricks from old buildings and reintroduce them into the construction cycle as fully certified, high-quality materials.

Our reclaimed bricks already generate over 98 % less CO₂ compared to newly manufactured clinkers — emitting just 9.330 kg of CO₂ per tonne.

This isn’t theoretical. It’s measurable.

It’s verified.

It’s happening today.

Part of the Solution

By choosing historic bricks, we help reduce the environmental impact of construction at its core. Klinker Historika’s reclaimed bricks are not just beautiful and durable — they are a tangible contribution to combating climate change.

They help limit:

  • Global warming
  • Ocean acidification
  • Industrial carbon emissions

Every brick we reclaim is a step toward a more sustainable built environment — and a healthier planet.
